Exceptional Product and even better Customer Service
We would like to first start off by thanking GG BranCrisp for not only making such a great product but also for their outstanding customer service. If we ever need extra support (such as shipping, expedited order…etc) Abe is always there to help assist us immediately and he will not only get the request done but will go the extra mile. So first we want to thank you Abe and Bran Crisp.
This combination is why we have been loyal customers of these crispbreads for over 4 years and they are a part of our daily diet routine that we couldn’t live without. Also we can’t forget Only 12 calories per slice! They are just perfect for the health conscious and dieters (especially people who are following a low carbohydrate and low calorie diets).
All of the reasons above are why we decided to highlight GG Brancrisps as our first ‘Food Finder‘ in our blog which we launched this week. We have decided to share our research / thoughts with others who are interested in living a long healthy life like us. Also we hope to introduce Brancrisps to our viewers so they can enjoy the benefits of them too! If you are interested in viewing please visit our blog at: bodyhacker.com
We also wanted to quickly share our favorite ways to eat the crispbreads. Here are some of our suggestions:
- Snack - we just add our own mixture of Cinnamon and Truvia and enjoy as a snack throughout the day
- Breakfast - use as toast with your eggs (you can add jam, some fruit..etc)
- Lunch - as a bread substitute for a sandwich (any type of sandwich such as Peanut Butter and Jelly, Turkey with your favorite vegetables)
- Dinner - as small pizzas which you can bake in your oven (add your favorite toppings such as tomatoes and basil…etc )
These are only a few of the ways we enjoy our brancrisps although there’s tons of variations that you can make with these crispbreads. We will continue to share our recipes and hopefully will discover others through other Brancrisp followers!
Thanks again GG and we look forward to a long relationship with you!

Have a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving,
The GG Team
Root Vegetable Gratin with Sprinkles
- 1/2 lb. of parsnips (2 medium-sized)
- 1 medium celery root (sometimes called celeriac; 3/4 lb total)
- 1/2 lb sweet potatoes
- 1 1/2 lb russet (baking) potatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of Greek 2% yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of your favorite Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 a cup of Sprinkles
- 1/4 cup of grated parmesian cheese
You will need a 3-quart gratin or other shallow flameproof baking dish (not glass; 13 by 9 inches)
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Peel parsnips and cut crosswise into 3-inch lengths with a knife, then cut lengthwise around core into 1/8-inch-thick slices. Transfer to a large bowl.
Peel celery root and all potatoes (prepare russet potatoes last to avoid discoloration) and halve lengthwise, then cut crosswise into 1/8-inch-thick slices. Add to parsnips along with salt, garlic, pepper, nutmeg, broth, Sprinkles, Parmesian, mustard and the yogurt, tossing to combine. Transfer to gratin dish, spreading evenly.
Cut out a piece of parchment or wax paper to fit just inside gratin dish, then very lightly butter 1 side of parchment. Cover vegetables directly with parchment, buttered side down, then put dish in a shallow baking pan (to catch any drips). Bake until gratin is bubbling all over and vegetables are tender when pierced with a knife, about 50 minutes. Discard parchment.
Just before serving, preheat broiler. Drizzle top of gratin with remaining 2 tablespoons cream and broil 4 to 6 inches from heat until browned, 2 to 3 minutes.
GG Bran Crispbread Sprinkles: Fabulous Fiber Flakes!
Those of us who want to lose weight often face one big barrier to success: hunger!
Here’s how it typically happens: it’s 10 a.m., and you’re at work. Around you, co-workers are happily enjoying glazed donuts and croissants, sipping extra-large cappuccinos with whipped cream on top. And there you sit, gloomily staring at your bag of rubbery carrot and celery sticks. You’re hungry – and boring vegetables don’t help satisfy that yearning for something sweet and filling! So you give in, accept that raspberry jelly doughnut that your manager is offering…and then figure that since you’ve gone off your diet, you might as well have pizza for lunch.
Or maybe it’s dinner time. The rest of your family is enjoying huge servings of meat loaf. And all you get is a boring, skinless chicken breast. It’s dry; it’s tasteless, and you’re still hungry after you’ve eaten it. Result: you eat the chicken…AND a slice of meatloaf with mashed potatoes and extra butter.
The Solution: the NEW GG Bran Crispbread Sprinkles
The wonderful folks at GG have created the perfect solution to those hunger pangs and feeling of diet boredom: a crushed version of the GG Scandinavian Bran Crispbread crackers, called Sprinkles!
Why and how it works:
¨ Sprinkles contain fiber, that magical ingredient that helps you feel full fast – without hunger! The result: no more grumbly tummies and longing for “more.” It’s the perfect ingredient to fit into your healthy food lifestyle.
¨ Sprinkles are so versatile and easy to use that you can create your own fabulous recipes with them – or use ones that the GG staff and content customers have invented.
For example:
¨ Just take the easy-to-access wide-mouthed GG Sprinkles tub, measure out one serving of three tablespoons (10 ounces), and try one of the delicious Sprinkle recipes. You can even substitute my turkey meat loaf recipe for your family’s favorite traditional meat loaf. You’ll have a healthier family – and you’ll all love the fabulous flavor!
¨ For those mid-morning hunger pangs, set aside those rubbery raw vegetables. Instead, take a small container of vanilla low-fat or non-fat yogurt. Combine one serving of Sprinkles with one-half teaspoon of cinnamon and two to three packets of Equal or Splenda. Mix in the sweetened spicy Sprinkles, freeze for an hour, and enjoy! This recipe makes a great high fiber snack and is ideal for adding to your low carb food list.
By including Sprinkles in your diet, you can control your appetite much more successfully – and tastefully! As a sample of what’s possible, try my recipe for turkey loaf:

GG Bran Sprinkles
Joanne’s Turkey Temptation Loaf
4 tbsp. low-sodium teriyaki sauce
1 egg
3 tbsp. tomato paste
2 packets of Splenda or Equal
1 teaspoon Italian herbs
½ teaspoon garlic salt
¼ cup GG Sprinkles
1 pound of ground turkey meat
½ cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon of GG Sprinkles
Combine the teriyaki sauce, egg, and tomato paste thoroughly. Mix in the turkey meat, and then thoroughly combine the artificial sweetener, Italian herbs, garlic sauce, and Sprinkles into the turkey mixture. If you prefer a more “tomato-ey” flavor, add one-half to one additional tablespoon of tomato paste.
Use a non-fat spray on a loaf pan, smooth in the turkey mixture, and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour, or until the center of the loaf is fully cooked. Sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of GG Sprinkles and shredded cheese over the loaf, and return to the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy!
