Pumpkin Sprinkle Muffins Recipe
¼ cup of crushed GG Crackers or GG Bran Sprinkles
½ cup rolled oats
1 ¼ cup whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. allspice
¼ tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flax meal
1/t tsp. cinnamon
1 tiny dash of ground nutmeg
1 ¼ cup of brown sugar
1 ¼ cup of canned pumpkin
6 tbsp. canola oil
4 egg whites
¼ cup of ground almonds
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 12 cup muffin tray with muffin liners and lightly spray with nonfat cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, allspice, cinnamon, salt, flax, oats, and Sprinkle. Using a mixing bowl, mix brown sugar, pumpkin, canola oil, and egg whites. Stir in dry mixture. Fold in almonds. Fill muffin cups ¾ full and bake for 18-22 minutes, until muffins are lightly brown. Place tray on cooling rack for 10 minutes before removing muffins from pan. Makes 12 muffins.

GG Bran Crusted Salmon Recipe
4 salmon filets
Pepper to taste
Cracked red pepper
3 tsp. Dried tarragon
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
3 tsp. honey
½ a cup of crushed GG Crackers or GG Sprinkles
¼ cup grated parmesan
3 tbsp. plain yogurt
1 egg white
Rinse the salmon in cold water and pat dry with a paper towel and cover with plastic wrap, setting aside in fridge. In a medium sized mixing bowl, add all wet ingredients and the herbs, briefly whisking until blended. Add the salmon to the mixing bowl and coat all of the pieces thoroughly with the mixture. Cover the bowl and chill at least 2 hours. Ideally, the salmon should be chilled in the mixture 4 hours or more.
Once chilled, take the pieces out of the bowl. In a small bowl stir the parmesan and crushed GG crackers or Sprinkles. Spread the dry mixture onto a plate evenly. Roll the salmon in the in the Sprinkle’s mixture until well crusted.
In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp. of sunflower oil on medium heat. Add the crusted salmon filets and sauté ONCE on each side until the crust is crisp. Flip the salmon filets over carefully with a spatula. Place the filets onto a cookie sheet. Bake the filets in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes, or until completely cooked.

Turkey or Beef Meatloaf Recipe
Cooking with NEW GG Bran High Fiber Sprinkles
(Serves four)
1 tbsp. mustard
4 tbsp. worsteshire sauce
1 egg
1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
3 tbsp. tomato paste
2 tsp. honey
1/8 tsp. cracked black pepper
1 tsp. dried parsley (or ½ tsp. fresh minced)
1/8 of a teaspoon of salt
¼ cup of crushed GG Bran Cracker or GG Sprinkles
1 pound of lean ground beef or turkey
Combine all of the wet ingredients with a whisk. With your hands, work the beef into the wet ingredients until well-blended. Sprinkle the salt, pepper and Sprinkle over the mixture and work it into the meat thoroughly.
Shape the meat into a loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour, or until the center of the loaf is fully cooked.
Bran Crisp Oat Bread Recipe
1 cup of whole wheat flour
½ cup applesauce
¼ cup maple syrup
½ cup crushed walnuts
¼ cup crushed almonds
1 tbsp. sunflower oil
2 tsp. vanilla extract
¾ cup nonfat yogurt
¾ cup crushed GG Crackers or GG Bran Sprinkles
½ a cup rolled oats
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 egg whites
Preheat oven to 375. Spray a 9 inch loaf pan thoroughly with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, mix flour, GG Bran Sprinkles, oats, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. In a smaller bowl, combine egg whites, yogurt, applesauce, maple syrup, oil and vanilla. Whisk until smooth. Combine both sets of ingredients. Fold in nuts. Add the batter to the pan, leveling the top with a rubber spatula. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
